Third annual Heart & Sole Community Scavenger Hunt returns to North Ridgeville

North Ridgeville Heart & Sole invites North Ridgeville and Lorain County residents to participate in a community scavenger hunt. The two-week long scavenger hunt begins June 6 and ends on June 20. Up to 50 teams can participate and each team can include up to five players. No cost to register. The scavenger hunt is family-friendly and all ages are encouraged to join. The missions (activities) will be shared and completed digitally on Goosechase, an app available on all smartphones. 


Missions include: visiting parks and businesses, attending free fitness classes, and answering trivia questions and riddles around North Ridgeville. Players do not need to be a North Ridgeville resident to participate. New missions will be shared weekly on June 6, June 13 on the Goosechase app. 


How to participate: 

  1. Form your team (2-5 players).

  2. Have each team member download the Goosechase iOS orAndroid app.

  3. Have each team member sign up for an account (or play as a guest).

  4. Search for this Experience by code JXD22R or name (2026 North Ridgeville Heart & Sole Community Scavenger Hunt).  Once you find this Experience, tap “Let's Go!”.

  5. Create your team, then tap “Join this Experience”.

  6. Have your team members join your team. Set a team passcode to control who can join your team. (Optional) 

  7. Lastly, set yourself apart with a name and photo and click “Save”. (Optional). Enable app notifications to get important reminders, alerts, and messages for the best experience. 

  8. Be ready to start missions with your team on June 6 at 10 a.m. 

Prizes

The grand prize—up to $300.00 in gift cards—will be awarded to the team with the highest score from completed missions. The second-place team will receive up to $200.00 in gift cards, and the third-place team will receive a 4-pack of tickets to Freedom Festival 2026 at Victory Park on July 3 (a $100.00 value). Additionally, every completed mission earns your team an entry into a raffle for that specific mission’s individual prize. Winners will be notified via email June 22.
